Welcome to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, that owes its name to the Maasai phrase ‘Enkare Nyrobi’ (cold water) – of the nourishing Nairobi River.
Nairobi in Lisan-u-dawat reads ‘neer’ within; a link to WATER, that reminds one of the intensely sorrowful zikr of Imam Husain AS. The remembrance of which only brings woeful tears to our eyes.
Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, not unlike ‘a place of cold water’ is a source of intellectual nourishment; a source of Ilm-e-Ale-Mohammed.
